MCBA Announces Winners of Community Service Awards

  President Elect Charles Telfair, IV, President Alexandra St. Paul, Jaime Delgado, Tracy Pratt, and Past President Paul Grondahl  At the Annual Meeting of the association in June 2016, the Manatee County Bar Association recognized two members for their record of service to our community.  In the 20th annual presentation of the awards, Bradenton attorney Jaime L. Delgado received the William C. Grimes Award for Lifetime Achievement in Community Service and attorney Tracy B. MCBA learns constitution revision history at General Membership Luncheon

Diversity & Inclusion Symposium – CLE Event

The MCBA Diversity & Inclusion Committee held its first event on February 9th, 2017 at the MCJC!  Appx. 80 attendees attended the Diversity & Inclusion Symposium which was moderated by Judge Charles Williams.  Judge Claudia Isom, 13th Judicial District did a tremendous presentation addressing “Implicit Bias”, and a panel discussion followed which featured panelists Judge Karimu Hill-Harvey (retired, New Jersey) and Alan Perez, esq. Mallard Law Firm, Sarasota.
