Interact with Your Judges: Be effective and know your judges. The MCBA is proud to have excellent bench and bar relations in Manatee County. Our judges are known for their professionalism, commitment to, and visibility at many of our MCBA functions.

Learn More About Your Profession: Join one of the MCBA Sections or Committees! There you will learn and engage with other attorneys who share your specialty. MCBA Sections offer continuing legal education, networking and leadership opportunities, service projects and other ways to become involved.

Stay Current! Our official publication, Inter Alia, is published eight times annually and filled with information on legal developments, MCBA events, and educational programs. We also feature guest essays – if you have an unpublished or interesting article, share it with us!

Get Out There and Be Known! The MCBA gives you several opportunities to become involved in your local community with events ranging from helping out Habitat for Humanity to supporting students with Art Creations for the Courthouse. We believe that by helping others within our community, our community will help us!

Become Involved with our Young Lawyers Division! Our Young Lawyers Division is thriving! Partake in one of the many events and socials they sponsor throughout the year. Not a Young Lawyer? Become a mentor and support our next up-and-coming legal generation.

Learn to Lead: By participating on MCBA committees and/or Boards, you will gain leadership qualities that you may not obtain anywhere else.

Get MORE for Your Dues Dollars! The MCBA works hard to give you the most for your dues! Our dues include your lunch at monthly meetings and entry to many of our social events such as the Spring Social and Holiday Party! We don’t believe other Bars can compete with that!
